Coats for Christmas 2022

Coats for Christmas 2022

Coats for Christmas 2022 is finally here! Coats for Christmas was born from the vision of Paul T. Kramer CEO of City Uniforms and Linen in 1987. He had a goal to ensure that every person had a warm coat over the coldest times of the year. Now, Coats for Christmas provides thousands of people in the community with warm coats, hats, mittens, socks, and blankets. This is a great example of the community working together to help out those who are in need and cannot afford a winter coat.

Each year we ask many of the area schools and some businesses, organizations, and individuals to collect and donate gently used winter coats. City Uniforms and Linen then goes through the process of laundering the coats for distribution. Volunteers then distribute coats to those in need.

Donation Needs:

New and gently used coats are accepted. All used coats will be cleaned by City Uniforms & Linen. Each year, there is great demand for children size coats to fit infants through junior high aged children. Warm coats are appreciated as many children walk to school each day. Work coats for men are generally in low supply and high demand. Larger sized coats are also appreciated by all.
