Maintenance Associate           

Job Description: Repair & inspect all laundry equipment, perform preventative maintenance.  Removal of lint from equipment /building;  Maintain water treatment facility;  Monitor chemical room inventory & submit reports weekly; Basic repairs in chemical room with chemical supplier guidance; adhere to all safety guidelines; Research & order parts as needed;

Job Requirements:  Troubleshooting skills, both electrical and mechanical / ability to read blue prints and schematics;   Boiler and HVAC knowledge;  Ability to drive a tow motor;  Knowledge of high voltage;  Safety knowledge (lock-out/tag-out, Right-to-Know, handling of chemicals, etc.);   Flexibility on work hours and the ability to periodically work weekends or longer hours when needed

Physical Demands:  Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, and work in those listed positions;  Heavy lifting required / Ability to work at heights;  Withstand above normal heat index in the summer.

Education and Experience:  High School diploma or equivalent; 2 Year Associate’s degree in mechanical/ electrical field preferred;  5 years proven experience;
